The Town of Aurora offers many camp programs throughout the year. Our camps are exciting, safe and innovative. They are well planned by our qualified camp staff and provide children ages 4 to 11 with a memorable and enjoyable camp experience. Our camps are designed to meet the varied interests, learning and developmental needs of all participants.

March Break Camps - March 12 to 16

The Town of Aurora offers numerous March Break Camps.

These days run from Monday, March 12 to Friday, March 16. Available to children ages 4 to 12 years, these camps will provide participants with daily activities, such as games, crafts, science and theatre.

Age: *4 to 5 years | ^6 to 11 years
Location: SARC

Join us for a week of fun filled activities. Campers will enjoy participating in games, sports, crafts, swimming, skating and more! Weather permitting some activities will take place outdoors. Dress accordingly and please provide a second pair of shoes for our time indoors. Note: Due to our new facility swim admission policy, 4 to 5 year olds will not be going swimming.

Age: 6 to 12 years
Location: AFLC

Children will overcome a series of challenges using basic materials, simple machines, tips from famous inventors and the most important of all – their mind. Children will create catapults and forts, construct working light sticks to take home and assemble a set of circuits with batteries and light bulbs. Note: This camp does not go swimming or skating.

Our qualified staff are committed to providing a memorable and enjoyable camp experience for your child. Town of Aurora Summer Camp staff encourage all campers to be creative and confident. Summer Camps Open House
Date: Saturday, May 12
Time: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Location: Stronach Aurora Recreation Complex
The Summer Camp Open House is a great opportunity for your children to meet some of our camp staff and to become familiar with many of our exciting programs. We encourage all registered campers as well as anyone who would like to learn more about our programs to attend. Friends and family are welcome!

Extended Care

Working parents In need of Extend-a-Camp? Take advantage and register for our amazing Extend-A-Camp opportunity. Child and camp counselorThis option is intended for parents who need to get to work on time or may work late. Extend-A-Camp offers additional supervision beyond our regular camp hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Children will be supervised by qualified and energetic camp staff who will provide an excellent experience for children of all ages. There will be a variety of games, activities, crafts, and much more.

Extended Care is available from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. This applies to both Camp programs and P.A. Day programs. For pricing please view the Recreation Program Guide.
