PLEASE NOTE: Due to the change in the Child Care and Early Years Act, all campers must turn four (4) years old before they are permitted to attend any Town of Aurora summer camp. For further information, please visit www.ontario.ca.

The Town of Aurora offers many camp programs throughout the year. Our camps are exciting, safe and innovative. They are well planned by our qualified camp staff and provide children ages 4 to 11 with a memorable and enjoyable camp experience. Our camps are designed to meet the varied interests, learning and developmental needs of all participants.

Winterfest Camp

School is out for the holidays! Take a break from the cold weather and join us for a variety of fun activities including games, sports, swimming,  skating, arts and crafts and more. Note: This camp is located at the SARC.

MARCH BREAK CAMP
Age: *4 to 5 years / ^6 to 12 years • Location: SARC
Join us for a week of fun filled activities. Campers will enjoy participating in games, sports, crafts, swimming, skating and more! Weather permitting some activities will take place outdoors. Dress accordingly and please provide a second pair of shoes for our time indoors. Note: Due to our new facility swim admission policy, 4 to 5 year olds will not be going swimming.

MAD SCIENCE – MACHINE MANIACS
Age: 6 to 12 years • Location: AFLC
Work together to build the best bridge in our shake, rattle and roll challenge. Turn your daily newspaper into a 4ft high Geodesic Dome that you can sit in. Explore the world of birds and bugs. Create cool sidewalk chalk and bath fizzers. Discover the wonders of photography.

ENGINEERING FOR KIDS – DESIGN THE FUTURE
Age: 8 to 12 years • Location: SARC
Explore the future of transportation, manufacturing and structures. Look at the innovations of today and apply them to create the designs of tomorrow as we explore ways to harness clean energy and house a growing human population.

AQUATIC LIFESAVING TRAINING CAMP
Age: 7 to 12 years • Location: AFLC
Campers will enter into a new realm of swim training called “Lifesaving Sport”. Train in the pool twice a day. Learn how to apply swim skills in a lifesaving context, how to complete swim workouts using the F.I.T.T. principles, how to set achievable and realistic personal goals. There will be an in-house competition on the last day. Prerequsite: Completed Swim Kids 6 minimum

Extended Care

Working parents In need of Extend-a-Camp? Take advantage and register for our amazing Extend-A-Camp opportunity. Child and camp counselorThis option is intended for parents who need to get to work on time or may work late. Extend-A-Camp offers additional supervision beyond our regular camp hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Children will be supervised by qualified and energetic camp staff who will provide an excellent experience for children of all ages. There will be a variety of games, activities, crafts, and much more.

Extended Care is available from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. This applies to both Camp programs and P.A. Day programs. For pricing please view the Recreation Program Guide.
