The Town of Aurora is excited to introduce a new community garden program at John Abel Park, offering residents and community groups the chance to grow their own food and contribute to addressing food insecurity.

The John Abel Community Garden will feature a variety of planter box-style plots available for annual allocation. These plots will allow individuals and groups to cultivate food for personal use. The garden will operate seasonally, from May 1 to November 1 each year.

Town Parking Lot Maintenance

Aurora Town Council approved a report with more details about the conditionally approved 2025 Capital Budget project for maintaining Town parking lots. In 2021, the Town completed a detailed assessment of all 26 Town-owned parking lots, identifying their condition and recommending maintenance and repair work.
