GO VAXX Bus is coming to Aurora

Save the date! The GO VAXX Bus is coming to Aurora on Wednesday, June 15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Aurora Seniors Centre (90 John West Way). Get your first, second, booster and paediatric vaccines for children aged five to 11. Fourth doses will be available to those who are eligible.

You can book an appointment 4 days in advance of the clinic date at Ontario.ca/vaccinebus. Walk-ins are accepted, while supplies last.

Please be advised all Baseball Diamonds and Rectangular Grass Fields are closed today due to the inclement weather.

The following artificial turf fields are still open:

  • Stewart Burnett Park
  • St. Maximillian Kolbe CHS
  • Sheppard's Bush

Aurora to Install Dog Waste Containers in Local Parks and Trails

New dog waste containers will help keep our parks and trails clean and divert waste from the landfill

The Town of Aurora will install 10 in-ground dog waste containers across 8 parks and trails starting this spring, with all units functioning by the end of June. These large capacity containers are installed below ground where the depth allows for cooler conditions and no direct sunlight, eliminating odours, maximizing capacity and improving waste diversion.
