Outdoor Rinks Closed for the 2024 Season

Despite the hard work of our Parks staff, the warmer temperatures have made it tough to maintain our outdoor rinks. Effective March 4, 2024, all outdoor rinks are closed for the season.

Three Aurora events receive Festival & Events Ontario Top 100 Award

Three Town of Aurora events have been awarded a 2024 Top 100 Award, during the Festival & Events Ontario’s (FEO) Annual Conference “IMAGINE” in Niagara Falls, Ontario. The Aurora events that won are Aurora’s Christmas Market, Aurora’s Haunted Forest and Aurora’s Multicultural Festival.

The Town of Aurora is excited to announce that registration has now opened for Aurora’s Youth Innovation Fair. This opportunity is geared towards youth in grades 4 to 12 that live in Aurora or the surrounding areas and who are interested in showcasing their ideas and innovations to tackle real-world issues.
