The Regional Municipality of York is rehabilitating and replacing sections of an aging water feedermain along Yonge Street from Murray Drive and Edward Street to Ridge Road in theTown of Aurora.

Temporary intersection closure:New Date Wednesday, March 15, 2023 - Between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m.An additional temporary, one-day intersection closure of the Yonge Street and Industrial Parkway South intersection is required.

Significant Weather Event Declared

The Corporation of The Town of Aurora declares a significant weather event in respect of snow and freezing rain on sidewalks, roadways and bicycle lanes, commencing at 4 p.m. on March 3, 2023, pursuant to O. Reg 239/02.

During this time, anticipate that roads, bicycle lanes and sidewalks may become heavy with snow and slippery. Proceed with caution.

Roads and sidewalks may take additional time to clear.

This declaration will be in effect until further notice.
