Aurora, ON –Test drive, analyze and compare the latest electrical vehicles and charging solutions at the Town of Aurora’s third annual Electric Vehicle (EV) Showcase. This exciting event promises a day filled with electrifying experiences, education, and entertainment, all centered around the future of transportation.

Description: Central York Fire Services (CYFS) responded to reports of a trailer on fire. A construction worker onsite explained they were in the process of dismantling the trailer for the purpose of disposal when it caught fire. CYFS fire crews on scene reported a 30-foot construction trailer fully engulfed in fire.

CYFS fire crews quickly extinguished the trailer fire. There were no exposures at risk of also catching fire.

Aurora’s street sweeping and flushing will begin April 1, 2024 (weather permitting). Sweeping crews will be out between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
