> May 25 to 31, 2025
The Town of Aurora is proud to recognize National AccessAbility Week (N.A.A.W.).
A time to celebrate the contributions of Canadians with disabilities and promote efforts to make our communities more inclusive and accessible for everyone. At the heart of this week is a shared commitment: to remove barriers, amplify voices with lived experience, and build a town where everyone can participate fully and equitably.
Our Commitment
Aurora continues to take active steps toward becoming a more accessible and inclusive town. We are proud of the partnerships, programs, and initiatives that promote meaningful participation and representation for all residents — including those with visible and invisible disabilities. As part of this commitment, the Town has officially proclaimed May 25 to 31 as National AccessAbility Week (N.A.A.W.) in Aurora. We invite community members, organizations, and businesses to join us in this important recognition and to explore how we can continue to make Aurora a place where everyone belongs.
