While working closely with the Public Health Department as well as the Town of Aurora and  the Aurora Chamber of Commerce, the Farmer's Market is opening this Saturday at Town Park (Mosley and Wells Street) in Aurora from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

At this time there will only be farm and food. The artisans will return as we move into phase 2 of re-opening.

Things to note:

  • There will be 1 main entrance on Larmont Street set up with a greeter who will ask COVID screening questions, spray some sanitizer, supply a mask (if the person doesn’t bring one), and count each person allowed in.
  • Since the Farmer’s Market is only allowed 2 customers per vendor, we ask that only 1 person per household shops at a time and that dogs be left at home.
  • Only reusable bags are allowed and we encourage tap transactions with credit or debit cards.
  • You will see our vendors with extra space between them and social distance markers on the ground to ensure a safe shopping experience for your fresh local food.
  • The one-way route will guide you westerly through the park and then northerly on Wells St. to the exit.
  • There will be a sanitizing station set up, but unfortunately there will be no washrooms available for public use.

We hope that everyone will work together to support our local businesses, and to ensure Aurorans have access to their local food. Supporting our own community is more important now than it has every been.

Applications along with payments for the indoor market are currently being accepted. The market will be held on November 11, 25 and December 9 during the same hours before disappearing from January to May.
