Movie lovers are invited to join us this summer as we transform Aurora Town Park into an outdoor cinema for Aurora’s Movies in the Park. Grab a blanket, lawn chair, and your favourite snacks and enjoy a night watching classic films under the stars.
For the month of August, enjoy free flicks on a large inflatable screen with a surround-sound movie experience. Arrive early to participate in pre-movie activities with each movie starting at dusk. Enjoy free theatre-quality popcorn (while supplies last).
Top Gun: Maverick (PG13)- Thursday, August 3
Make it your mission to race on down to Town Park and bring your energy to the first outdoor movie of the summer. Enjoy the sequel to Top Gun. Note: The movie has mature content.
Space Jam: A New Legacy (PG)- Thursday, August 17
If you like basketball and adventures, then this movie is for you. Find out how LeBron James and Bugs Bunny work together in the most important game of their lives. Arrive early to enjoy some Space Jam themed crafts and activities starting at 8 p.m.
The Land Before Time (PG)- Thursday, August 24
Trek your way down to Town Park to watch some young dinosaurs as they try to reunite with their families in the valley. Arrive at 7:45 p.m. to enjoy some dinosaur-themed crafts and activities.
Spies in Disguise (PG)- Thursday, August 31
For the final movie of the season, you’ll try to figure out if you are more like the scientist or the super spy. Arrive at 7:30 p.m. to see if you can make your way through some riddles and adventures using your spy skills.
For your comfort, please bring your own lawn chairs and blankets. The event is free to attend, but a food donation to the Aurora Food Pantry is appreciated.
