The Town of Aurora is proud to present Aurora’s Multicultural Festival taking place from Saturday, September 12 to Saturday, September 19 with in-person and virtual celebrations. Celebrate the diversity in Aurora with a weeklong celebration and embrace new cultures, lively music, vibrant traditional clothing and wonderful dancing from around the world. This event will take you on a one-of-a-kind tour with cultural performances cooking demonstrations and more.

9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (repeat shows)
Saturday, September 12 to Saturday, September 19 (Virtual Experiences)
WHERE:   Aurora Town Park - 49 Wells Street

This year you can experience authentic dance performances from Brazilian, Spanish, Hawaiian, Italian dancers and more. In accordance with public health guidelines, the in-person shows taking place at Aurora Town Park are restricted to 100 people. If capacity is met, you can still experience the shows online as they will be streamed on the Town of Aurora’s YouTube channel. For your seating comfort at the in-person shows, please bring your own portable chairs.

Throughout the week, there will be many engaging experiences offered virtually, including a variety of cooking demonstrations. Learn how to cook authentic dishes from around the world as we feature a new dish each day of the celebration. The event will also feature multicultural online activities and experiences provided by community groups such as Aurora Public Library, Aurora Cultural Centre, Pine Tree Potters Guild and more. Virtual tours from around the globe will be available to provide an authentic multicultural experience.
