    The Town of Aurora is pleased to announce a new partnership with AccessNow, a Canadian-based organization that focuses on improving accessibility for people with disabilities. The partnership aims to verify the accessibility of the Town's main facilities, including Aurora Town Hall, Joint Operation Centre and our recreation and community centres, using the AccessNow online platform.

  • Aurora Shows Strong Signs of Post-Pandemic Recovery

    Aurora’s economy continues to show strong signs of post-pandemic recovery, with 3,037 jobs added to the town’s employment base since 2019 along with 72 new businesses, according to York Region’s 2022 Employment Survey Results. The overall job growth between 2019 and 2022 far exceeds the small drop in employment that occurred during the height of the pandemic.
