Aurora Recreation Complex - Arenas - June 24 to September 7

Both ice rinks located at the Aurora Recreation Complex will be closed from Wednesday, June 24 to Monday, September 7, due to mechanical issues. The ice rinks are expected to reopen on Tuesday, September 8 at 7 a.m.

Aurora Family Leisure Complex - Pool & Deck Area - June & July

Starting on Wednesday, June 10 there will be a hoarding installation on the pool deck as a part of the Building Exterior Wall project. During this time, there might be limited deck space on the east end and noise disruption while work is underway. This will not affect the safety of individuals within the building. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of July 2026.

Aurora Family Leisure Complex - Aquafitness Drop-In Class - July 21

The following Aquafitness class is cancelled, due to the A.F.L.C. Exterior Wall construction project.
Tuesday, July 21
• 8:05 p.m. to 8:50 p.m. – Aquafitness
The evening A.F.L.C. Aquafit class will resume on Wednesday, July 22.

Aurora Family Leisure Complex - Club Aurora Fitness Centre - July 28

Delivery & Installation of New Fitness Equipment - The delivery and installation of our new fitness equipment will take place on Tuesday, July 28, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. We ask all Members to be mindful of the work taking place and to use caution when entering or exiting the Fitness Centre.

Aurora Family Leisure Complex - Men's Pool Change Room - July 30 & 31

The Men’s Pool Change Room will be closed on Thursday, July 30 and Friday, July 31 for a scheduled plumbing repair. There is no impact on pool programming. The Family Pool Change Room will be available for use during this time.

Aurora Town Square - Water Feature - August 9

The ATS Water Feature located in the Mirkopoulos Plateia will be out of service on Sunday, August 9 due to a scheduled performance.
