    The Corporation of The Town of Aurora declares a significant weather event due to the pending winter storm event in the Town of Aurora. Snow and freezing rain on sidewalks, roadways, laneways, and bicycle lanes, commencing at 4 p. m.

  • Seeking input on Recreational Program Needs for Persons with Disabilities

    The Town of Aurora is developing a Recreation Needs Assessment for Persons with Disabilities in our community. This initiative was identified as an action item within the recently approved Parks and Recreation Master Plan in June 2023.

  • Water Billing Update

    We are aware of a billing error issue on some resident water/sewer bills. There were only 45 accounts that were impacted, and we have already corrected the accounts affected.

At the Council meeting last night, Mayor Mrakas brought forward a motion pledging the Town’s commitment to supporting people with disabilities and creating an inclusive space for everyone.

Aurora Town Council on Tuesday adopted the municipality’s 2024 to 2026 Budget with a 2. 8 per cent increase to the tax levy in 2024, and an additional 1 per cent for capital infrastructure projects.
