Remembrance Day
Lest We Forget
Since 1919, Canadians have taken time to pause and remember those who have served and continue to serve Canada during times of conflict and peace. Ceremonies are held across Canada to mark the Armistice agreement that ended the First World War on November 11, 1918 at 11 a.m. In Aurora, these ceremonies have been centered around the Aurora War Memorial in Peace Park since 1925.
