Campaign Signage for Elections
Plan Your Signs, Protect Your Budget
For many candidates, campaign signs are a top priority. Aurora’s sign bylaws are designed to keep our community safe and ensure fair visibility for all. We encourage you to review these size requirements early in your planning process to prevent unnecessary printing expenses and ensure your signage is fully compliant. Gear up for Nomination Day May 1, 2026!
Size Limit:
Your sign face can be up to 1.49 m² (roughly 16 square feet).
Shape Limit:
No side of your sign (height or width) can be longer than 1.22 metres (4 feet).
Simple Design Tip: Most candidates find that a 4' x 2' or 4' x 3' sign is the "sweet spot." It fits the rules perfectly and provides enough space for your name to be seen from a distance.
