Visiting the Sports Dome

While visiting the Lind Realty Team Sports Dome in the Town of Aurora, Ontario, there are a few key things to keep in mind:

  1. Dome staff are here to help! If you have any issues with your field, please reach out to the convener for assistance.  
  2. Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes before for your permit start time. You will not be allowed on the field early even if it is empty.
  3. Food or drink (other than water) is not permitted on or near the turf. This includes: coffee, tea, hot chocolate, snacks, gum, etc.
  4. There is plenty to see and do in Aurora while you are here visiting! Check out our travel and tourism page for more details.

By keeping these points in mind, and by following the rules outlined below, you can ensure a smooth and enjoyable visit to Aurora's Lind Realty Team Sports Dome. Enjoy your time here!

1. Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes before for your permit start time. You will not be allowed on the field early even if it is empty.  

2. You are required to end your activity five minutes before your permit end time and start to clear the field. You are to do this regardless of the buzzer sounding or not.

3. You are expected to move back any equipment used or relocated by you to its original location by the end of your permit.

4. Please allow the permit holder ahead of you to clear the field before entering.  If the group ahead of you does not leave, please ask dome staff for assistance.  Please do not intervene yourself.

5.  Games are to be played in their allotted timeframe and on the field/bay assigned on your permit. Play outside of your permitted time will not be allowed under any circumstances.

6. No marks are to be made on the artificial turf.

7. Metal or long cleats are not allowed on the field. These can damage the turf for you and all other users.

8. Consumption of alcohol is forbidden in the Dome, adjoining park, or in the parking lot.

9. Food or drink (other than water) is not permitted on or near the turf. This includes: coffee, tea, hot chocolate, snacks, gum, etc. 

10.  Destruction/vandalism of dressing rooms, washrooms, or other areas of the facility will not be tolerated (accidental or intentional).

11. Please be considerate and do your part to keep washrooms clean.

12.  Dressing room availability is limited. If your program requires dressing rooms, please make the request at the time you are requesting your field permit. 

13. Do not leave any valuables in the dressing rooms.

14. Players using the sidelines to change footwear and seasonal outerwear are asked to place their belongings as close to the dome wall as possible, ensuring a clear pathway for other players/spectators.

15.  Playing or training in any dressing room, hallway, or lobby is not permitted. 

16.  Climbing on nets or hanging from the cross bars is prohibited.

17.  Storage of ‘extra’ equipment is not provided at this time. Seasonal permit holders may request to place a storage container in the dome, subject to approval, and at the sole expense of the permit holder.

18. Limited spectator seating is provided.  Spectators are not permitted on the field of play.

19.  Excessive noise, inappropriate language, music, or yelling will not be tolerated.

20. Disrespect towards staff or other users will not be tolerated.
