Skylight Gallery
Located at Aurora Town Hall (third floor)
At the Town of Aurora, supporting and nurturing the arts is a top priority.
Available for in-person viewing, the Skylight Gallery is a beautiful open space, topped by a dramatic skylight where art show exhibitions are showcased and celebrated.
Backboards and track lighting have been installed to display artwork in a striking setting. Public admission to this ever-changing art show is free.
Most of the monthly featured artists are from York Region and beyond. The goal of this exhibition space is to provide the community with an accessible art gallery in a unique, convenient setting. Showcasing artists are invited to also hold a reception in the Skylight Gallery during their chosen month.
Shows will also be made virtual for those who cannot attend in-person.

Deb Conacher invites you to explore the world through her lens in the exhibition, “Building the Bucket List.”
This collection showcases a dedicated pursuit of unforgettable moments and locations. Viewers will journey across continents, experiencing sights from her travels to Africa, Italy, the Grand Canyon, Page, Arizona, and capturing iconic beauty right here in Ontario.
Beyond geographical destinations, experience a “photographer’s bucket list” with technical shots that require precision and patience. These include challenging captures like the beauty of the Milky Way and a perfectly timed sunrise alignment with the CN Tower.
What's on your list? This journey is meant to inspire one to pick up their camera, plan their next trip, and start building their own bucket list, one moment at a time.
