ParticipACTION Community Better Challenge
As part of the Town of
Aurora’s June is Recreation and Parks Month initiative, the Town of Aurora will
be participating in the ParticipACTION Community Better Challenge in
partnership with Sport Aurora and Activate Aurora. The
ParticipACTION Community Better Challenge is a brand new annual physical
activity challenge that is bringing
communities together with physical activity and sport participation.
The challenge takes place from May 31 to June 16. The
Town of Aurora encourages the community to participate and support our
community’s effort to be crowned Canada’s Most Active Community. Challenge
participants will be able to track their active minutes that will contribute to
our community’s total on the FREE ParticipACTION app or on the ParticipACTION website.
The Town of Aurora will also be logging minutes for its existing recreation
programs that occur during these dates and these active minutes will be put
towards our community’s total count.
