Get ready for ABC’s 2nd Annual Back-to-School Sports Day, a fun-filled community celebration made possible through partnerships with the Town of Aurora, York Regional Police, CCSYR, and the Aurora Barbarians Rugby Club! Join hundreds of youth, families, community leaders, and first responders on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Aurora Recreation Complex (1400 Wellington St. E., Aurora) for a day of sports, connection, entertainment, and family fun. Whether you're starting kindergarten or heading to university, you can receive a free backpack stocked with school supplies while quantities last (200+ available), meet local frontline heroes and government officials, try new sports including rugby and pickleball, and enjoy complimentary food, live music, and games. Registration is required as spaces are limited.
