Community Cleanup
Our next community Cleanup Day takes place on Saturday, April 25 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Pick up your cleanup kit, choose a spot, and help refresh our parks, trails, and streets. Students can earn volunteer hours too! This event takes place rain or shine. Please dress for the weather.
Register by April 24, 2026
You can participate by following the steps below:
- Register to participate
- Choose a public park, greenspace or trail to clean (target locations listed below)
- Grab your cleanup kit at Town Park from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
- Follow the safety tips provided in your kit
- When you are finished, leave your garbage bags at the location you have cleaned up (curbside and accessible for GFL to collect).
- All recycling bags must be brought back to Town Park (large blue bins will be on site to dispose)
- Tag us in your before and after photos on Facebook @townofaurora and using the hashtag #auroracleanup.

- Henderson Drive (Yonge Street to Watts Meadow)
- Holladay Drive/Meadow Area
- Stone Road
- First Commerce Drive
- Desjardins Way
- William Graham Drive
- Old Bloomington Road
- St. John’s Sideroad
- Industrial Parkway North and South
- Bayview
- Yonge Street
- Wellington Street East and West
- All storm water management ponds
