Significant Weather Event Declared - January 15, 2026

The Corporation of The Town of Aurora declares a Significant Weather Event due to heavy snow currently impacting roadways, sidewalks, multi-use paths, bicycle lanes, and lane ways at 8:30 a.m. on January 15, 2026 pursuant to O. Reg 239/02.

During this time, proceed with caution and anticipate that sidewalks, roads, laneways and bicycle lanes may be heavy with snow, form ice and become slippery.  

All transportation routes, such as roads, sidewalks, laneways, bicycle lanes and registered windrows may take additional time to clear. 

This declaration will be in effect until further notice.
