Recycling Carts to be used starting December 31, 2025

Important Recycling Update

Starting December 31, residents must use their new recycling carts. Recycling not placed in the new carts will not be collected.

Holiday Collection Change
If your regular collection day is January 1, your recycling and green bin will be collected on January 2 due to the New Year’s holiday.

Recycling Cart Set-Out Tips
• Place the cart with wheels facing your home and the lid toward the street.
• Keep at least 3 feet (1 metre) away from fences, vehicles, or other obstacles
• Set carts on a flat surface, clear of snow and ice
• Do not place carts on the road or sidewalk
• For winter set-out, clear a safe space on your curb or driveway
