Santa will arrive in Aurora on Saturday, November 27

Enjoy the lights, music and magic of the season as Santa Claus makes his annual visit to Aurora’s Santa Under the Stars Parade on Saturday, November 27 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This evening parade will return to Yonge Street and will travel south from Orchard Heights Boulevard to Murray Drive.

“I am looking forward to joining Aurorans under the stars as we welcome Santa back to Town! Let’s line Yonge Street for the best Christmas parade in the GTA!” says Aurora Mayor Tom Mrakas.

Enjoy a meal or a hot chocolate from a local eatery on Yonge Street, before finding the perfect spot along the route to enjoy the twinkling lights, beautifully decorated floats, and incredible marching bands. While enjoying the parade please view it only from the sidewalk not from on the road. Emergency Medical Services will be using this space to respond to service calls.

While enjoying the parade, we ask that you stay socially distant from other spectators along the route and to wear a mask unless eating or drinking. Remember to take pictures as you enjoy this magical evening with your friends and family, and remember to share your pictures with us on social media using #santaunderthestars.

After the parade, many stores will stay open, so start your gift giving shopping early by visiting the local shops.

Additional funding for this parade is provided by The Province of Ontario.

Please visit the webpage for road closure and detour route details, so that you can navigate comfortably.
