Annual celebration will be held on December 1

The Town of Aurora, in partnership with Chabad Aurora, invites you to join us at the 5th Annual Aurora’s Menorah Lighting Ceremony on Wednesday, December 1, at the Aurora Town Hall in the front courtyard.
This joyous celebration will begin with the lighting of the Menorah, immediately followed by a fire juggling show. The festivities continue with samples of traditional celebratory foods.

When:

Wednesday, December 1
6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Where:

Aurora Town Hall, 100 John West Way
Front Courtyard

The Menorah will be lit on the fourth day of Chanukah, also known as the Festival of Lights. This eight-day Jewish holiday is celebrated each year to commemorate the rededication of the Temple in Jerusalem in the second century BC. The festival is observed by the lighting of the Menorah, which is the most recognizable symbol of Chanukah.

Bring your friends, family and neighbours to celebrate with us as we enjoy this festive evening.
