To help better serve our residents, the Town of Aurora has expanded its services offered to the community during COVID-19. As of Monday, July 20, Access Aurora will be offering two additional services by appointment only for marriage licences and commission requests for personal documents.

To book an appointment to obtain a marriage licence or commission request for personal documents please see the following processes below:

  • Customers seeking a marriage licence must call Access Aurora at 905-727-1375 and request an appointment with a division registrar. Limited appointments will be made available each week from Monday to Friday during regular business hours.
  • Customers seeking a commission appointment must call Access Aurora at 905-727-1375 and request a commission appointment. Commission appointments will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays during regular business hours.

To protect our community and staff, pre-screening will occur at the time of booking and again the day of the onsite appointment. Customers are asked to wear a face mask on the day of their appointment and will be asked to abide by physical distancing protocols the Town has in place. Please note the Town of Aurora does not provide “Notary” services to the public. For public notaries, please refer to your local yellow pages.
