Library Square

During the December 12, 2017 Council Meeting, Council endorsed a concept design for what is currently referred to as "Library Square." Library Square is the area around the former seniors' centre and former library, behind the current Aurora Public Library. Council previously voted to demolish both old buildings to make way for a new community space.

The endorsed concept includes a lower squre option, referred to in the presentations below as Option 2. The approved concept is in the early stages and is expected to be refined as consultation with community partners and Town committees continue.

The first Public Meeting Presentation contains the intial two concepts. Based on feedback, the concepts were revised and the second presentation contains refinements to the Option 2.
