Special Budget Consultation meeting
on January 14, 2019
Aurora Town Council wants to hear about your ideas to improve our community. A special budget consultation meeting will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019 at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers.
As part of
the budget process, Council is looking for suggestions on how to increase
non-tax revenues and how to save money on Town processes and services. If you
would like to provide your ideas at this meeting, please complete a Delegation Request form.
also asking community groups, organizations or individuals seeking special
grant funding or services in kind from the Town to complete the Financial Request Form and make a presentation to
Council for their funding requests to be considered in the upcoming 2019 budget
process. Requests received after this meeting may have delayed consideration
until the 2020 budget discussions. The deadline for a detailed written
submission and form is Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. Delegations will be heard in the order the
forms are received.

These groups may apply at any time during the 2019 budget process.
All delegations at the special budget meeting will be allowed to present their proposals with a maximum time frame of five minutes. This time may be shortened depending on the volume of requests. No final decisions will be made on the proposals at this meeting.
