Online voting for the 2018 Municipal Election in Aurora will start on October 12 at 12 a.m. Qualified electors will be able to cast their vote online from October 12 to 21 at 5 p.m.
Internet voting is easy, secure and accessible any time of day. You can use this convenient method of voting from your computer, tablet or smartphone.
To vote online, you must do the following:
• Check your mail for your Voter Notification Card.
• Collect your unique pin number.
• Complete online registration.
• Vote online from October 12 starting at 12 a.m. until October 21 at 5 p.m.
Advanced voting can be done in-person from October 13 to 17 at the Aurora Seniors’ Centre located at 90 John West Way during the hours listed on aurora.ca/vote2018.
The final Municipal Election Day will be on Monday, October 22. Polling stations will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. On Election Day, residents must vote in-person at one of twenty voting locations in Aurora. There will be no internet voting on Election Day.
If you don’t receive your notification card in the mail, you must vote in-person during the advanced voting period or on Election Day with photo identification.
If your name is not on the Voters’ List, you can have it added by visiting the Aurora Town Hall Clerks’ Office located at 100 John West Way or by completing the online registration at aurora.ca/vote2018
