The Town of Aurora offers many FREE activities for families to participate in as they Celebrate Canada’s Birthday.

Rotary Dance in the Park - June 30

Bring out your dancing shoes and kick off the Canada Day festivities with the Rotary Dance in the Park on Saturday, June 30 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Aurora Town Park.

There will be fantastic live bands, the Optimist food truck and the Rotary Beer Garden. Celebrate the start of Canada Day with your community at the Rotary Dance in the Park.

Aurora’s Canada Day Parade - July 1

This well-attend annual event is a much-anticipated day for countless spectators.

The Canada Day Parade starts at 10 a.m.

The parade will go along Yonge Street travelling south from Mosley Street to Murrary Drive.

There will also be a family chalk drawing activity located in front of the Aurora Public Library.

Canada Day Festivities

All activities are located at Lambert Willson Park, unless otherwise noted.

​11 a.m. to 1 p.m.​Pancake breakfast (while supplies last) provided by Enbridge
​11 a.m. to 2 p.m.​Public Swim (located at the Aurora Family Leisure Complex)
​12 p.m. to 3 p.m.​Kidz Workshop, presented by Home Depot (while supplies last)
​12 p.m. to 3 p.m.​Horseshoe Tournament (register at 11 a.m., $3 per adult), bring your own lawn chair. Presented by Rotary Club of Aurora
​12 p.m. to 2 p.m.​Family Open Gym (located at the Aurora Family Leisure Complex)

​12:30 p.m.​Reaffirmation, National Anthem, Cake Cutting (in front of stage)
