With the nation celebrating Canada's 150, more and more communities will be experiencing and learning about the Indigenous communities.
The Town of Aurora is thrilled to be supported and funded by Canadian Heritage in the first ever Pow-Wow held on Aurora soil in more than 150 years.
The New Beginnings Pow Wow
in Aurora will feature traditional dancing, drumming, food and will showcase
some Multicultural Performers. The Host Drum is Little Creek Singers, the Co-Host Drum is Cold Water Ojibway, the Arena Director is Mr. Mawla Shawana and the MC is Mr. Bob Goulais.
The White Pine Dancers welcomes all nations to participate in this Pow Wow. All vendors are invited to participate, limited space available. Those interested are to contact Rod Nettagog at firstname.lastname@example.org
