Playgrounds

The Town of Aurora provides 35 playground areas throughout the Town. These play areas are open year round.

Our playgrounds are designed to provide recreational opportunities for children of all ages. The Town has been upgrading and replacing playground systems on a regular schedule. Our goal is to ensure that all playground equipment is C.S.A compliant.

All playground areas are maintained to current Town of Aurora Service Level Standards. This involves a regular monthly detailed inspection of all equipment and facilities. Should playground users detect a problem or safety issue requiring attention in any of our playgrounds, we encourage them to notify the Parks office at 905-727-3123 ext. 3233. Parks staff will respond as quickly as possible to address the problem.

Please note: Our playgrounds are unsupervised by the Town of Aurora and children using the equipment should be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
