The Brome House

Brome-House2.jpg

Built in 1890s, this charming modest house of Georgian Cottage style is named after Walter & Annie Brome, owners from 1941 to 1962. Originally used partially for commercial uses and converted to residence in 1910. In 2010, the house was fully restored to a small elegant residence at the heart of the Northeast Old Aurora Heritage Conservation District.

The Brome house was the last house in Aurora to have electricity installed in 1951
