This elegant and completely restored c.1868 worker’s house, of simple Ontario Gothic Cottage style, is now a charming restaurant. It was originally built for George Russell, a labourer and agent who worked at the close by Fleury Foundry; and until 1940s, it was mainly occupied by blue-collar workers. A taste of specialty scones and tea will be offered to visitors. |
