Participate in Aurora’s Annual Clean-up Day
Register today. Help keep our Town clean and green!
Aurora, ON – The Town of Aurora invites residents to participate in Aurora’s Annual Clean-up Day on Saturday, April 22 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Town staff, residents and volunteers will help clean up litter throughout the community.
"I encourage residents and families to participate in Aurora’s Annual Clean-up Day. Our community is very eco-friendly and environmentally aware. With the warmer weather and the melting of the snow, litter becomes much more evident. By working together, we can help beautify our space and keep Aurora litter free," said Mayor Geoffrey Dawe.
When: Saturday, April 22
- 8 a.m. Registration and distribution of kits
- 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Clean-up activities
- 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Thank-you barbecue
Where: Clean up takes place at various sites. Please register to choose your site.
A thank-you barbecue will be held at Aurora Town Park with entertainment provided by the Aurora Community Band.
To register, please complete the online form at aurora.ca/cleanup. The deadline to register is Tuesday, April 18. All registered participants will receive a clean-up kit and pick-up guidelines at check-in on Saturday, April 22 starting at 8 a.m. at Aurora Town Park. Please remember to wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
