New Parking Restriction around Town Park
The Town of Aurora has
implemented new parking restrictions around Town Park. Vehicles are now
restricted to three-hour parking limits between 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday to allow for
more parking opportunities for patrons using the park or nearby facilities.
The Town will offer 15 parking spaces and permit applications will be available starting Tuesday, February 16. Permits are available for a fee and on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is a limit of one permit per family.
The permit can last up to six months, depending on the request. The processing time to receive a permit is between 24 and 48 hours. Applications are available from Access Aurora at Aurora Town Hall, located at 100 John West Way. Full enforcement of the program will begin Tuesday, March 15.
Town Park Parking Fees
Fees are subject to change as the Fee Bylaw is amended to bring them more in line with other Municipalities.

Winter Parking Restrictions
For the 2016-2017 winter season, the Town of Aurora has implemented a Winter Overnight Parking Restrictions Pilot Program. This pilot will allow for parking on residential streets overnight provided the Town has not called a snow event. Previously, residential street parking was prohibited 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. between November 15 and April 15. Street parking at any time during a snow event has always been prohibited.
For more information on this pilot project visit our Winter Overnight Parking Pilot Program webpage.

Early Payment Option for Parking Infractions
